This process increases the soil's shear strength and shifts its physical properties. In the building of airports, roadways, site improvement programmes, and others where soil stabilisation is used. It is also used to enhance stiffness and capacity for bearing. For soil stabilisation, chemical and mechanical methods are usually used.
