The 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Security Training is the essential first step toward earning your New York State Security Guard Certification. To streamline the process, it is highly recommended that you register for the 16 Hour On-the-Job Training Course at the same time, ensuring all mandatory training requirements are completed efficiently.
This introductory 8-hour course gives aspiring security guards a strong foundation in the core responsibilities of the role. Key topics include:

Students must provide valid state ID, proof of purchase, and attend the full training session at Knight Training Institute.
