All 27 Republican governors across the United States signed a joint statement supporting Jewish American Heritage Month, condemning rising antisemitism, and reaffirming strong support for the State of Israel
The statement praised the role Jewish Americans have played in building the United States over the last 250 years, highlighting contributions in business, science, public service, innovation, faith, and culture
At a time when antisemitism continues rising across America and around the world, the governors said they remain committed to protecting Jewish communities and ensuring Jews can live safely in schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods
The governors also strongly reaffirmed their solidarity with Israel, saying the United States has proudly stood with the Jewish state for nearly 80 years and continues supporting lasting peace and security
The unanimous statement was organized through the Republican Governors Association and facilitated by the Combat Antisemitism Movement
Among the most recognized governors signing the statement were Ron DeSantis, Greg Abbott, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Glenn Youngkin
