Different Types of British Citizenship Application Costs
If you are paying for your application, the online version would require you to pay by credit or debit card. For the paper form, applications must use the payment slip-citizenship or right of abode applications to send your payment by credit, debit card, or cheque. Cash, transcash or postal orders are not allowed for paper applications.

For adults applying for naturalization AN application, the total payable amount is 1630 pounds. For registration for the B(OS), B(OTA), RS1, S1, S2, S3T, and EM applications, the total fee payable is 1481 pounds. For Section 4C,4G,4H,4I registration and applications the fee charged is 130 pounds.
For other types of British nationalities, adults applying to naturalize as British overseas territory citizens, the total fee payable is 1000 pounds. Adults who are applying to register as British Overseas Territories citizens, British protected persons, and British subjects, it is possible to be registered or naturalized as British Overseas Territories citizens in the UK in exceptional circumstances. The total fee for this application is 901 pounds.
For children who are below the age of 18 and are applying to register as British citizens the total fee applicable for the application is 1214 pounds. An additional 130 pounds are paid to cover the ceremony fee when the child turns 18 during the entire application process. This is needed at the time of decision.
