I also noticed that some IMAP settings — like the root folder path (e.g. "INBOX") — are not available in the new Outlook, which makes troubleshooting more difficult. In the classic Outlook, I would normally check or adjust these. All default folder will show up as top-level ones and mail will start populating to the Inbox folder. For faster and more reliable delivery, add to your trusted senders list in your email software. Simply enter your email address OR username in order to reset your password.

I deleted the Apple Mail app from the phone, reinstalled from the App Store. It's just a little bit technical, but we have an IMAP proxy that chooses from some different backend IMAP servers.
