We played our games before that time as very informal matches which only required a net and a ball along with the rules we decided to follow during the game. People accepted everything without raising any doubts.

The transition to organized play at an actual indoor court brought about changes to our group activities. I discovered that minor aspects of the situation carried greater importance than I had anticipated. The events which included line calls and net touches combined with foot faults created an atmosphere where everything approached more serious than before.

It didn’t make me play better overnight, but it made the game clearer—and that alone changed how I approach every match now.

Now it just feels normal. Clean boundaries, fewer arguments, and a much smoother flow of play every time we step onto the court.
