I would really appreciate it if those of you who have been to Malaysia could share some practical advices with me. My wife, our two children, and I are going to Kuala Lumpur by plane in July. Actually, I'm a bit stressed out by the whole task of planning. We will be carrying quite a lot of luggage, in addition to a stroller, so commuting in crowded public transportation during peak hours is out of the question. I really can't see how we would fit in. Normal street taxis give me a headache too as they are typically small cars which won't be able to accommodate all our stuff. Besides that, they might even charge tourists really high prices. Have any of you tried the GetTransfer service for booking a spacious taxi Kuala Lumpur? I intend to go for a fixed-price deal so as to eliminate any unexpected expenses on the meter, since, with little children after a long flight, I definitely don't want to have a run-in with local drivers. Thanks in advance, guys.

Hi! Oh, with kids and luggage, public transportation there is a real challenge, and the heat is intense, so you’re making the right choice. Booking a large car in advance is a real lifesaver, because little ones need extra comfort. Are you planning to stay right in the city center, or do you plan to go somewhere further out, like to Genting Highlands or the Batu Caves? The scenery along the way is simply gorgeous, but regular city taxi drivers really don’t like to go outside of Kuala Lumpur.
