To mark the occasion, the retailer has collaborated with several watchmakers to launch exclusive limited edition pieces. Today, it has teamed up with Ulysse Nardin to launch the Freak S “Swiss Watch Centennial Exclusive” limited edition best replica watches, which features a purple dial made of crystallized ruthenium.
The new watch is based on Ulysse Nardin’s iconic Freak model, which has many famous variants such as the Freak ONE OPS and the Freak S Nomad. The latest version retains the same dimensions as the standard Freak S, with a titanium case that is 45mm in diameter and 16.65mm thick. The watch has no dial, hands or crown, and is topped with a sapphire crystal, which allows a clear view of its complex movement, which can also be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback and adjusted for time.
The Crystalium disc is made of crystallized ruthenium, an extremely rare metal with an estimated production rate ten times lower than platinum. To create Crystalium, ruthenium is processed over several days, during which it evaporates on the substrate. The watch is equipped with the UN-251 automatic movement, which has a flying carrousel that rotates on its own axis every 60 minutes. The luminous-coated part of the main bridge serves as the minute hand, while the complex structure of the movement remains exposed, allowing the wearer to admire it from all angles. The movement runs at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz) and has a power reserve of 72 hours.
